ASB - Associated Student Body

The EVMCHS ASB is a student-run organization that serves as the administrative entity of the student body. ASB helps to organize events and activities, We ensure clubs are supported and active. ASB also link volunteer opportunities with service minded students. We conduct outreach to businesses and organizations to forge reciprocal relationships as well as to local schools for volunteering and recruitment. ASB is really about creating future leaders. If you want to make a difference in your school and learn how to effect change, please consider joining an available student position at EVMCHS ASB. 

Interact

A very well-respected community service club sponsored by Rotary that "brings together young people to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self." Every year we work on both a community and international project with the intention of benefiting others, in addition to conducting volunteer work independently and as a group. Interact is an international high school organization with Rotaract clubs (the college version) on most university campuses. Graduating club members of EVMCHS are awarded beautiful sashes courtesy of our patron, the San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary! Ten of our members graduated in June, so we'd love to have you fill their spots. 

Yearbook

​Yearbook is a great club for those wanting to be involved in our EV community! If you are a creative you will enjoy the aspect of growing your art in yearbook with photography & graphic design skills! Yearbook also provides many important skills that relate to other aspects of life. Collaborating and working as a team creates a strong group of friendships that feel like family. We work together to capture all EV has to offer and tell our story each year! You don't need any experience to join yearbook, Mrs. Perry will be there to support you throughout the year! You do need to come with a passion to connect with peers, learn from one another, create and have fun! WE will meet after school from 4-5 once a week, we will choose the day is best for our members! Chess Club

Chess club is obviously a club about chess, but our main focus wasn't just chess it was having fun. We were just a ragtag group of people who enjoyed playing chess. None of us were extraordinarily amazing at chess except for one member. However, that didn't stop us from constantly competing against each other. There was no work involved with the chess club you could come and go whenever you wanted. Sadly as of now, the chess club has fallen apart, and hopefully next year with the help of freshmen and previous members we could bring the chess club back.
